DWF receives $10,000 grant from the City of Arlington

In July of 2017, DWF applied for a $10,000 grant thru the City of Arlington and AISD.  The grant provides an afterschool program for high school students at Martin High School.  The program is called Teen Talk (program name was created by the City of Arlington Juvenile Case Management).  The Program is specifically for up to 25 students who have been assigned detention by school administrators.

We received notice that we will be awarded the the grant and DWF will facilitate the program beginning at the end of September.  The program will run 26 weeks and one day per week (Wednesdays) from 3-5p.m. It will be facilitated by 2 DWF staff members.
