Lisa de la Garza is an accomplished, dedicated nonprofit leader with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, community development, recruitment, coaching and corporate training. She currently serves as the Executive Director and CEO with Trauma Support Services of North Texas. She received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the University of North Texas. Lisa knew early on that she wanted to dedicate her career to children and youth and worked for Arrow Child & Family Ministries, an international foster care and adoption agency, for over 18 years, serving in various positions. From there, she transitioned to the National Victim Services Training Manager with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and was responsible for overseeing their Victim Services Training Program for National Staff, Field Staff, Volunteer Advocates and Community Partners. Lisa is dedicated to helping children and youth develop a positive self-image, engage in their community and take pride in their accomplishments. She continues to mentor at-risk youth from diverse backgrounds and is also a Certified Developmental Coach. Lisa is actively involved in her community and currently serves as an Officer on the Board of Directors with Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth.
